Beginning April 11th, the State Department will include the “X” gender marker for individuals and will no longer require medical certification if an applicant’s choice doesn’t match the gender on other documentation.

The Arizona Governor signed two bills targeting transgender youth, including one restricting access to gender-affirming health care for minors, and another that restricts their participation in sports.
