NCSH Holds Inaugural Meeting

The first annual meeting of the National Coalition for Sexual Health (NCSH) took place on September 20, 2013, in Washington, DC. Attended by nearly 50 NCSH members from around the country, the meeting provided an opportunity for the full membership of the NCSH to meet together, plan, and coalesce under the NCSH umbrella. Several NCSH products were launched, including a message strategy for talking with the public about sexual health, results of qualitative and quantitative message testing with the public, a patient’s guide to sexual health care services, and an audience profile on the sexual health of youth in the U.S. The meeting also featured hands-on media training, a panel on current challenges, opportunities, and innovations in sexual health, and planning sessions for the Communications Action Group and the Health Care Action Group.
